MT Joy Baptist Church Pastor Willie A Stephens
Rev. Willie A. Stephens is the child of the late Mr. Otis and Mrs. Mattie Stephens. He is a native of Smackover, Arkansas where he was a member of the Sweet Canaan Baptist Church. He was educated in the Smackover Public School System.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, Arkansas; a Bachelor of Theology and a Master’s Degree in Theology from the Manhattan Bible Institute in Manhattan, New York. Pastor Stephens is retired, after 38 years of service, from AC-Delco, a division of the General Motors Corporation, where he was the Marketing Sales Development Manager.

He resides in Acworth, Georgia with his devoted wife, Elizabeth Ann Stephens. He is the proud father of three children, Cassandra, Andrew and Alicia. Pastor Willie A. Stephens, visionary of Mt. Joy Missionary Baptist Church, has been preaching and teaching the Gospel for over 24 years and has been pastoring for over 15 years.
The membership at Mt. Joy has grown both physically and spiritually. His strong spiritual preaching and teaching, not only transformed lives in Mt. Joy, but has had a positive impact in the City of Chattanooga. Many people have turned to Jesus Christ by his strong preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
